Privacy Policy

Effective July 2026 · applies to the Halcyra iOS app and this website

The short version

Halcyra is local-first. Your logs, streak, triggers, money, and your "why" are stored on your device and never sent anywhere. There is no account, no ads, and your data is never sold — there's nothing to sell.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter or log: nicotine use, cravings, timestamps, triggers, costs, goals, and settings. Backups are files you create and hold yourself (for example in Files or iCloud Drive) — we never see them.

Anonymous usage (optional)

If "Share anonymous usage" is on (Settings → Usage data), we receive anonymous, behavioural events only — which screens and features get used — processed in the EU (PostHog, Frankfurt) with IP addresses discarded at ingestion. Never your logs, times, triggers, amounts, money, notes, or the nicotine product you use. Turn it off anytime; the app works identically.

Notifications

Reminders are optional, scheduled on your device, and never leave it.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete removes every log, streak, and setting from the device immediately. Because we hold nothing, there's nothing to ask us to delete.

This website

halcyra.app is a static site served by Cloudflare. We run no analytics or cookies here. Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) to serve and secure the site, per their privacy policy.
